Another December in Delhi, one more rape shakes the conscience of the people. Rapes in metro cities get more serious attention than in rural or far flung areas because majority of us, who like to call us the thinking classes of the nation, reside there.

Whatever be the case, every such incidence merits equal seriousness in approach and that brings us to the same question:
Why are rapes increasing in our society ?
where does the problem lie?
